ruby-base62 software package provides base62 encoding and decoding library for Ruby, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-base62
ruby-base62 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-base62 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-base62 *
You will get with ruby-base62 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
